adventure in Puglia Travel Diary: a walk to the white Itria Valley between Martina Franca and Cisternino-SECOND PART

to 394 feet above the sea (great terrace on the valley as Martina Franca), is Cisternino. The view you get is just amazing. An expanse of trulli, farms and oak forest where the view can not help but wander.

Again winding labyrinthine alleys between whitewashed houses.

In the center of the country meets Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and Clock Tower that stands on this important room, where everything is alive and lively evening of lights, voices, and tourists music. While by day it is quiet, almost sleepy. When all are at sea, the beaches, these places seem almost magical. Free from confusion, only the sound of children running in the streets of empty seeds. A sound I love.

Then there ways that one after another, leading to New Square, that once housed a fish market.

Tips for Trip

A Cisternino absolutely must come to eat the meat in the cooker ready . The advice is to get a little bit before the dinner to have time to park (and find a place!), maybe take a walk, a pleasant aperitif, a tour of the shops and avoid bottled or make a row for amazing food.

Arriving at Cisternino, before going inside the walls of the city, you can sit and look out onto the terrace to watch the valley, sipping a coffee in ice (who loves Mr.Marito). An address is that of Vignola Cremeria in Via S. Quirico.
